Nurse suspended for offering to pray for elderly patient’s recovery .

  1. A year ago last October, I broke my pelvis in a motorcycle accident. I spent four weeks in a ‘nursing home’ while waiting for the immobilizing fixture to be removed from my belly.

    One of the LPNs there was told she could be fired because she did pretty much the same thing for one of the elderly residents. This in America, where supposedly we have a guarantee of freedom of speech and religion, something lacking in Great Britain these days.

    The complaint was not lodged by any of the residents - but by a co-worker.

    Seems the coworker or a person visiting the patient filed the complaint…
