In Britain not a day goes by without someone mentioning the “housing shortage” House prices are insane. We live in a small 3 bed semi. We paid £190,000 for it $300k in God we trust yanqui dollars. Now three years later its probably “worth"£215k yet the BBC and the politicians are unable to put two and two together. Every year hundreds of thousands of people are coming to Britain legally and illegally, but the BBC cant seem to grasp that maybe this is a factor in the lack of available housing.
However, I digress. One “solution” the government wants to bring about is to have a massive house building program. Now when this happens they have to incorporate social housing. Which means welfare deadbeats. How would you feel paying a quarter of a million pounds or more for your home only to find they have moved some maggots in next door who get a bigger house for free? Over here the government (ie the public) picks up the rent for these losers. You have the absurd situation where scumbags from Somalia who happen to hold Dutch passports are living in million pound homes in London subsidised by the taxpayer. Now they want to build hundreds of thousands of new homes on green fields to house these toerags rather than do what the public wants and tell them to **** off back to Holland or wherever.
