"Barbarian” is also where the name “Barbara"-which means “the stranger"-comes from. “Barbara also means “foreign or strange.”
I’ve been told that-considering what it means-my name suits me perfectly. *rolls eyes*
BabaBARBara
today’s equivalent of ba-ba-ba:
blah-blah blah…
so taoday we shopuld call them
blahblarians
Barb- I never knew that the name Barbara came from the word barbarian..........my sister’s name is Barbara and I must admit she is totally different from the rest of us (3 brothers, myself and another sister who passed away).........
Oh BTW, Cards win, Cubbies lose- we are now up 5 games- whoooooooiiiiiieeeeee
” I must admit she is totally different from the rest of us.” You sound almost Jealous!*big grin*
This is how the Cubs did last year. After the ALLStar Game, they were able to really get it in gear. Enjoy your “pearch” The Cards residence there IS temporary!
Ba-Ba-BARB
Barb- Am not jealous of my sister, but I do admire her for the lifestyle she has pursued.........She reminds me of a “Polish Babushka” woman- she lives in an old farmhouse and has an organic garden. She sells her produce to a number of clientele. She also raises chickens for their eggs which she also sells. She has no interest in fashion, makeup or the latest hairstyle. She teaches computer science to senior citizens and is a Master Gardener. She is also an abstract painter (the arts run in our family- our brothers & I are photographers). Her lifestyle is just different from the rest of us..........We love her dearly..
Stan is obviously a Ba-ba-ba-barian. (do I have to stutter...?)
