It is mission impossible for us to guard against counterfeit products
BS. Just stop selling stuff that says Made in China.
Sort of reminds me of the era before Sinclair Lewis. A predictable stage in the formation of a large economy. They have entered the area of damage created by unfettered industrialism and will have to decide on the appropriate level of control to scale it back. We overbalanced on the controls and have destroyed our economy. Now we’ll see what the Chinese do. It took us roughly 100 years to go from laissze faire (sp?)capitalism to an over regulated and dieing industrial base.
In Oklahoma when I was living there the 3rd time - 1984 - they passed an ordinance - that you could serve any meat you wanted in a restaurant - you just had to list it correctly on the menu. There was a big influx of Cambodians and the resulting influx of ‘missing dogs’ prompted that measure.
If you are hungry - you’ll eat just about anything - I have chocolate covered insects in the freezer. I thought my son would think they were cool. Not so much. I guess I will have to take the plunge soon. It won’t be the first insect I’ve ever eaten - it will just be the first time I did it intentionally.
I know a local source of donkey meat they could harvest for the taking… They’d just have to deal with the BS it all seems to be full of.
