Actually, I’m not REAAALLLY a Cubs fan, I just a have a crush on*thinks of a cute player in his 30’s*-um GREG MADDUX. Yeah. thats it. I just have crush on-who was it again?-um Greg Maddux. I’m really a bookish PhD who much prefers intellectual pursuits over such plebian things like professional baseball. yeah.

There, there little twerp. Yes, the fat lady has sung - and her name is Vilmar - and she can’t sing fer shit - but she has sung. There’s always next year. So let the mad money-monster Steinbrenner take his overpaid Yankers to the playoffs one more time. Sooner or later he will run out of money .... and the Cubbies will drop the CUB-BOOM on that fat lady.
Vilmar, if you’re reading this, take note .... if the Cubs win the World Series one day, you’ll have to either (a) eat more crow than is humanly possible or (b) leave the country - ‘cause Barb and I will hunt you down and give you a stern whacking.
