Boo-Hoo ... I have only a few minutes and must be off to see dentist. Waaaaaaa.
I’m not being nosey, but how long did you have to wait to see the dentist?
My own experience is that getting in to see MY dentist involves a wait of 2-3 months. Why? He’s just that good and popular.
That’s for regular stuff like cleanings, etc. If you have an emergency, say a broken tooth, he’ll get you in today! He’ll bump somebody’s cleaning to fix a broken tooth.
If emergency that day.
Usually for cleaning, which isn’t done by the dentist, you make it for 2wice a year.
But if I need to see the dentist for problem as I did recently, and since it was not urgent,
it was just a few days. It’s also been as much as a week or two but you can also opt to have them call you if there’s a cancel and you take that appointment.
Our dentist is really good AND .. I like the idea over here that your appointed time doesn’t mean you must wait an hour AFTER you arrive ten minutes early for an appointment made a week or a month before. Usually seen smack on the dot or within a couple of minutes.
Our dentist believe it or not, has a million dollar house, I think it’s 18th century but will check next time I go. Two large rooms downstairs are her offices and what they call a ‘surgery.’ Which is where the chair and xrays etc. Waiting room not fancy but comfortable chairs and sofa. Very roomy. The place where patients are seen has a huge fish tank with beautiful, colorful tropical fish. Quite relaxing actually.
Doctors are called doctors okay BUT ... the step above a lowly doctor, a specialist, like say a surgeon, is called Mr. Or Mrs as the case may be.
Ain’t that odd?
Oyey, that’s a castle, Bigod. An heape of old rocke.
Well.. According to BT, you can get broadband for the castle, but it’s limited to BT Total Broadband, no Infinity.
(Sorry, I was burning with curiosity about that)
If I was there and had the cash, I would love to live in something like that!
