1. Good thing that didn’t happen here in the once-free USofA. The guy would have been gunned down by a bunch of park rangers in SWAT gear.

2. No Drew - the mooselet was 2 days old - so that means that the mooselet was at least 12+ hours old when our guy found it and even if just born - Momma would have stood her ground - not run. And it should have been in a very out-of-the-way place - which I doubt would have been good for that kind of stupid stuff by somewhat stupid guys.

   I suppose it’s possible that Mom ran off - but come, on - just given birth. Even animals rarely do something like that. Only girls who want to get back to the prom - do stuff like that.

3. Heard about this… seems to be common during moose birthing season. Even a new-born moose can do serious damage to a car. So they let them run wild until they grow up and learn that we like moose, grilled, with appropriate BBQ sauce.
