  1. Well, obviously we need to trash our economy, significantly lower our standard of living, and basically return to cave living before this anthropogenic moving pole disaster destroys the planet. Because its all our fault, y’know, and its for the children, you racist.

    Or something....

  4. Oh no, I’ll have to cancel my 12,000 mile hiking trip! I may end up 200 miles from my correct destination! Haven’t these people ever heard of trigonometry?
Has Fox News lost it’s fact checkers?

  5. OH MY GOD WE’RE ALL GONNA DIE! cool grin

  6. And they never, ever consider for a nano-second that their 1) theory, 2) equipment and/or 3) calculations are Flawed or WRONG!

Did you know - according to actual statistics - 47% of Japanese - are not properly diagnosed with high cholesterol (i.e. somehow, someone found (probably at autopsy) that the people had HC), thus it goes ‘untreated’ with medication - but at the same time - the Japanese have the highest average life span of the World? Hmm, wonder how one can reconcile the two stats?

Because ‘science’ has become more about the theory and achieving ‘studies’ that justify and ‘prove’ the theory than about real investigation and research to a reliable, truthful end.

And Macker - Every man dies, not every man lives. cheese

  8. The quality of the sarcasm here just gets better, maybe it is an art form?? As for the content of the post, yes I was in the cubs and was taught how to read an OS map in geography when I was 11 or 12, and we did the magnetic declination then as well, now dont panic if modern teachers are reading (can the teachers still read??0 but you as what can no longer be called a profession (unlike whores who have not lowered their standards according to research) have failed your pupils, and are getting worse, overpaid under achievers, anyway how sad is it that 12 year old school science is the new scientific revelation? yes where is that cave for me??

  9. Ditto Chris. I learned in the Cub Scouts (actually I was in Webelos) how to read a map and correct for the difference between magnetic and ‘true’ north. You couldn’t complete most map & compass runs without knowing that.

Also, sarcasm is an art form. When I was an early teen, the 1st counselor in my local LDS church bishopric taught me that humor and sarcasm would get you out of trouble. It was particularly effective amongst the Celts. If you were a Celtic ruler, you did NOT want the Druids running around mocking you. Mocking, or sarcasm, is very effective.

BTW, how is the First Mongrel doing in the polls? (this would be mocking the First Mongrel. Of necessity, we are also denigrating all other mongrels.)
