It would be funny if it weren’t true, but the repubs are not that far behind them. Sad that they care about anything and everything than the protection, promotion, defense and strength of America. Hope that that it is not too late to undo the garbage they are foisting about the World daily.
How about Bob Scheifer saying ‘it’s getting dirty.’ This after none in the lib/dem sphere will condem the movie about the assassination of President Bush - crying free speech, art, whatever. Yet OH Rep John Boehner says that is appears the Dems care more about terrorists than protecting America. And now all of sudden it’s getting dirty.
Yeah that is so dirty and awful. The Dems are like petulant bullies - able to dish it out in spades but unable to take the truth for even a nanosecond.
peiper - your example is and should be published in every American paper (yeah, right, I know, I know) as the evils and detriment to common sense, freedom, rational thought that buracracies and big government are to the people that they are ‘supposededly’ serving. And oh yeah I forgot - money sucking and drainging useless entities.
It also shows that the issue is not ‘legistation’ issues it is enforcement issues. Why sit around thinking up and making new laws when the ones on the books aren’t being enforced, can be bought around and are basically useless - which is just about what our sitting Congress is right now.
Shame that getting re-elected is more important than the existence of America - which makes one wonder if they even realize the end result? If there is no America, how can you be re-elected, so saving America should be the most important issue of the day.
