No Thanks

 

1. My first reaction to this post was ‘WTF?’ What rift? Thanks for at least clearing up what GoV was. To paraphrase a recent post:

   I’ll tell what needs banning.  Authors who find the urgent need to write acronyms without translations. Or links.

   I had to discover what this rift was about by visiting each blog. The result? GoV, a blog I’d never heard of, is in my bookmarks. Perhaps this ‘rift’ is just a way to increase traffic to all concerned?

3. Oh poor Walt ....
   I guess the poor guy took on more then BMEWS. He took on Christopher.lol

   I as well just had to pay a visit to see what this was all about.

   Gee, like our side doesn’t have enough to deal with, there’s public arguments among ourselves?

   GoV an interesting site must say. And I have read the JihadWatch.

   Anyway, gotta thank Drew because there were links that are interesting.

   As for the Belgium blog site, it isn’t in English that I could see, unless I missed something.

   I’m far more worried about tomorrow and apparently so is Europe. I’ll never understand idiots that insist America MUST elect a black (he’s mulatto damn it) for NO OTHER REASON then to PROVE TO THE WORLD THAT WE ARE NICE FOLKS AFTER ALL. >> JERKS!

4. I didn’t put in links because a) I don’t want to be part of this squabble, b) an awful lot of us already know these blogs, and c) BMEWS readers are all experts at Googling stuff up.

   I put up this post because I have received email from a number of people requesting that I spend time, and that I ask my readers to spend time, researching past posts at these blogs to “prove” whether or not such evidence or attitudes exist. Don’t waste my time please. If it was just one email, I’d ignore it. But when it’s lots of emails I feel I should have some kind of response.

   While I have re-replied via E-Mail, I believe this deserves a specific notice:

   I believe that King Albert, the men he commanded, and their successors in WWII and Korea would be justifiably offended by that.

   Walt didn’t take me on, I’m just using him to try to start a BMEWS meme ala FARK. Go to FARK and you’ve got: Ceiling Cat, Olbermann, some Japanese pocket monster, etc. BMEWS needs a meme or two.

   I hope you didn’t think I was critiquing you in a negative way. I was have fun, in a sarcastic way. I must admit, if I didn’t want to get involved, I wouldn’t have posted on it.

   Glad you did. Gates of Vienna is a worthy blog that I was ignorant of before your post.
