I think hillary as big brother is even more appropriate than IBM in the original. And this clip says absolutely nothing about Obama. In the past, dems have run on the “I’m not Bush” platform and garnered 49% of the vote; now he’s running on the “I’m not hillary” one? I take it back, maybe this ad says more about Obama than I realized!

bowshot4 - because the dems are not after solutions - if they keep everyone at each other’s throats, if they keep racism alive and well, and if they keep a super entittlement state going - then Americans won’t have the ability to protest as their taxes keep going up and nothing gets taken care of. Of course with both of them the War will come back to America and somehow they will blame Bush for it, while doing nothing to win it (again).
I found the ad humorous but have to agree - they both are really, truly for a socialist state - so the real metaphor in the ad is inappropriate - and basically a lie.
So what else is new for a Dem?

Rat - while I understand sticking around an abuser (why Bill stayed with Hillary) what I don’t understand (and may never get my head around ever) is why this feminazi stays with a serial sex offender. If his only crime (which we know the infamous blue dress proved to be not true) is that he is just a charmer who woos stupid women - still WHY DID SHE STAY?

I can’t help but think and have done so for some time, but this really convinces me. Is Obama the creation of the republicans? With Hillary actually having a shot at the oval office, maybe the republicans had to put someone in the race to go against her and stir up the pot without actually using their own candidate. If this is true, it is ingenious. The Dems are shooting each other instead of at the republicans. This may fall under “conspiracy theory” stuff...but has anyone else thought the same thing...or am I nuts?

wardmamma4- yes, ma’am ......... understood that even as I was saying what I did. I think I just get frustrated with all the rhetoric. NOT sure that any ideas that I have would help, but (any way you look at it) they darn sure wouldn’t include more “Big Brother” than what we’ve got already!

I don’t think it is that the Republicans aren’t that smart - they just don’t seem to want to play the same devious games that the Democrats do. However of late they do seem to want to play ‘pass the pork’ with little concern and are showing to be just as spineless and gutless on standing up for their Administration and Party - which are both dem like behaviors - so who knows coniving political ads might be in their future.
