  1. Hillary is such a loser.  Hannity is already running commercials praying that she runs for President in ‘08 because it would make for such good radio.

OLDCATMAN is going to go crazy on the pot issue.  He is going to say that a woman who grows her own pot is not interstate commerce and he has a very good point. weed  Where is the limited power of the federal government?

His comments about pot being safer than drunken drivers also makes a lot of sense.  joint

Al Capone would have fought making beer legal.  This is an issue for the states.  But I don’t think pot heads should be classified as disabled and go on the government dole like drunks do.  smirk

  2. Let’s hope that there’s tape of Shrillary’s performance. She’s slipping in her fake move to the center.

Yeah, if they’d leave the pot smokers alone and go after some real criminals the prisons wouldn’t be as full and more truly bad guys would be in jail.

I’m still wondering who appointed that judge. I’m thinking it’s a state judge, though. It’s not clear in the article, but that’s the way I read it. The next step would be the state supreme court, not the federal supreme court, so I’m guessing it’s a state judge.

Maybe those frogs came from that lake that we stole a while ago. Damn leaky lake transporters. We gotta fix that.

  3. Justice O’Conner also agrees with OLDCATMAN weed

  4. I agree with you in principle, OCM. I blame it on bureaucracy though, not anything else. They were doggiestyle the weed  joint  before the religious right was ever heard from.

These bureaucrats get their budgets through the “war on drugs” and they’d eat their children before they’d take a budget cut. Besides, it’s easier and safer to bust a kid with a joint than it is to bust serious drug traffickers.

I did it for 31 years and stopped cold. Been “dry” for 3 years now. Those folks who claim it’s addictive are full of shit Tobacco on the other hand....

  5. Guy - it would seem to me that since you live on farmland, you could very easily grow your own weed without anyone finding it........Maybe you do already...... wink
I remember back in the 60’s one of my brothers shared a house with several other guys & they grew weed in the back of this house.......One of my other brother’s & his wife once let a friend stay with them for several months - this fellow used to put his weed plants on the front porch - every day when my sister-in-law came home from work she would move the weed back to his room thinking the local police would see it & bust everyone in the house.........I once dated a man in the early 90’s who used weed - I tried it once & it burned my tongue - that was it for me & I still can’t tell a weed plant from any other weed...........

  6. (1) Why do you need weed when you have us wonderful people to harass you and keep you occupied?

    (2) Does getting stoned really make it all go away?

    (3) If weed is “natural” then that means God provided it for you. How about a little appreciation?

Please write you answers on Ez-Wider rolling paper, wrap carefully in tin-foil and mail to: Federal Bureau of Investigation, 11805 G Street, Washington DC 20234.

  7. Mother nature also made beer.

OCM has made me see the light.  I see no reason to restrict his freedom.

Individual freedom is more important in America than some government mandate.  I don’t care if we all vote to eliminate OCM’s freedom, I still stand with him.  I don’t care if the vote is 209,999,999 to 2.  The USA isn’t a democracy, it is a Republic.  The power of individual rights is more important than the vote of some dumbed down lunitic voter.  This is still true even if the individual is insane.  Well not legally of course.  But OCM is not been diagnosed legally insane, yet.

OCM, remember anything you say on this blog can and probably will be used against you.  grin

  8. I’ve never done pot. I think smoking it is a less than admirable trait. My ex is a former dopehead-before we met-and if he ever catches the BOY doing it he’ll cut his “equiptment” off.
That said I think rules on medical pot-I can’t spell mari..-should be LEFT TO THE STATES!
    Bad Decision!
Btw-Scalia and Thomas desented with O’Connor.

  9. If pot should be illegal, then it should be illegal.  This, however, is the wrong way to deal with it.  The ramifications of this judicial decision are far, far worse than some stoned hippie talking about the fish in his koi pond to random people.
Yes, some people do remember that state’s rights was a major issue in the War Between the States.  The South’s main fallacy was that individual rights trump states’ rights, just as states’ rights trump those of the feds.  But that is for another discussion, another argument.  rasberry
As for pot itself, I can’t smoke it; I’m rather highly allergic to it.  Even second-hand pot smoke is enough to send me into an anaphylactic reaction.  Actually smoking a joint would likely put me at the least into the emergency room, if not six under.  But then, I don’t do well with booze, either.  rasberry

In short, this is a clear judicial violation of the Constitution.  Instead of either amending the Constitution, or going through the states, they’ve done an end-run around everybody.

    This ain’t good.
