Uhhhhh… small question about the Somali pirates.... After the ransom was paid and they all left in a boat, wouldn’t that have been a good time to INTERCEPT or SINK the getaway boat???

The owners of the Sirius star should have attacked her and burst her open as she sat in the Somali port, and then set the oil spill on fire. No, we won’t pay the ransom, and you can enjoy living in the hell that came from your prize.
Without illegal aliens: Take away all benefits from them (no government handouts, EVER), and punish any company that hires illegals by shutting them down for 3 months for every incident. Fines they just pass on as a cost of doing business. Being shut down HURTS in a way you can’t pass on to your customers, so maybe you’ll get a clue through your thick little CEO brain that ILLEGALS AREN’T WORTH IT.

Well darn. I’ve forgotten the code needed to inline a picture. *sighs*
1) Gee Tim, wouldn’t that be a waste of $3,000,000? Shoot, for half that a lot of folks would be happy to turn mercenary and go after the pirates freelance. Hmmmmm, question, why isn’t anyone hiring mercenaries to take out the pirates? On land, you’d be facing a lot of pirates, but at sea, a Piper Cub and a Tommy gun could chop up one of their small boats pretty well. Make it a better aircraft with better weapons and I’ll bet you could sell tickets to tourists who want to fly along a shoot a few pirates!
2) Over 7 million unemployed. Between Clinton and Bush, the economy tanked and they blamed Bush. Now we’re going from Bush to Obama and the latest is Bush’s fault. Am I missing something here? The economy has fallen harder and faster since Obama’s election than it did before it. So much for the wonderful changes Osama the Magnificent is promising. We all know the change that’s coming and it won’t be good for business.
3) Ah, the good Mr. Panetta, just another whore in an administrations of whores. Does it really matter that he’s absolutely clueless about intelligence operations? I love the theory of modern business that says you don’t need to know the business to organize it well. See #2 above. That theory is ruinous. Giving the country to MBAs who know nothing beyond their textbooks really isn’t a good idea. Just ask G.M. or Ford. At G.M. the rot was obvious as far back as the mid 1980’s. G.M.’s quality went in the toilet (I worked at a Buick dealer back then - trust me the quality stunk) and all their lines from Chevy to Cadillac all looked and performed the same. They made good money, but they’ve lost a little more every year and they’re blaming “legacy” costs for their troubles.
4) Hamas, Israel and the U.N - Now that’s a joke. It points up just how prejudiced and useless the U.N. is. My advice to the Israelis - hurry up and kill some more, that way there will be fewer to deal with later.
There you have it in my not very humble opinion.
