Whose theories? Times have changed. Perhaps I misunderstand “peaceful”, but sometime between 4th and 8th grade I read of ritual sacrifices such as throwing women into wells, cutting hearts out of living people on an altar and prolonged torture of captives. I saw pictures of skeletal remains under the water in the bottom of the well near some Aztec cultural center. Maybe that’s merely barbarian or savage, “peaceful” meaning they didn’t often raid the next village for slaves.

I’m not sure how the ACLU has anything to do with Mexican or European stupidity.
I do want to know on what grounds the ACLU persecutes the Boy Scouts of America. The BSA exemplifies all that our Founding Fathers held dear in setting up our Republic. Individual virtue, morality, etc.
(and no… I’ve talked to several young ‘liberals’ who believe that morality and virtue are synonymous.)
Anyway, dick, all cultures are NOT equally valuable. They might be relevant in that a culture exists, like Islam, but they are not equally valuable. There is nothing valuable about Islam. Islam is contemptuous of women, to the extent that Islam still practices clitorectomy.
Name one thing that Islam can claim in the last 800 yrs?
