  1. The clay refrigerator reminds me of the way we “refrigerated” food on the farm without electricity or running water by evaporation. So much for the good old days.
As for Africa, they’ve consistantly demonstrated a predeliction for stealing from one another and it doesn’t matter if the victem dies in the process, they simply cannot govern themselves with cilility.

  3. As much as it pains me, I have to say you messed up Vilmar.  You shouldn’t have posted that thing about India and how the poor and middle class people can’t afford electricity to run refrigerators.  Now Kerry and the DNC will be blaming that on President Bush too.  If he hadn’t given the American taxpayers such good tax breaks, those people from India who came over here to became doctors, motel owners, computer programmers, and generally productive American Citizens, for the sole purpose of enjoying the tax breaks, would have stayed in India and opened motels and doctored over there.  That would have provided the government of India more people with money in which they could tax at a higher rate and then provide electricity for the poor, or at least the middle class.  Now Edwards is going to be filing a law suit in their behalf insisting that everyone be provided free clay.

  4. I have worked with a number of Indian doctors over the years........they get their education here in America & then they work their asses off for the sole purpose of sending $$ back to their relatives in India.  Come to find out, all the relatives now enjoy nice homes and servants to wait on them.........makes me want to sent all the friggin’ doctors back to India.......One doctor I worked with made her son go to medical school when he really wanted to go to engineering school.......they brainwash their kids- even do their homework for them plus they still arrange their marriages for them, even tho they are now “Americans"- they don’t want their kids to get involved with American boys & girls...who would want them anyway........

  5. Dottie,

I have no problem with Indian doctors---so long as they speak English and do not criticize the US and our lifestyle or our President.

What they do with their money is THEIR business.  Yes, every dollar that leaves here is not spent here but, again, no big deal.

As for them pushing their kids---maybe WE should sdo the same thing but we’ve fallen into a trap of politically correct nonsense of NEVER doing anything that would affect a kid’s self esteem.  But they are only kids for Christ’s sake and maybe they DO need to have their little balloons pierced.

All this pushing, etc. how else do you explain why immigrants come here, their kids end up at the head of the class, graduate with degrees, and many immigrants end up rich because they now own the motel chains, the taxi stands, the lawn businesses, etc.

    DRIVE!  MOTIVATION!  WORK STANDARD!

    It’s what makes America great.

Rest comfortably in knowing though, that within two generations, their grandkids are just as lazy and shiftless as many of our own.  I won’t go into explaining but you should be able to figure it out.
