New Crowder

  1. Crowder is exactly right. I, for instance, haven’t had the loss of a child. I will say that a close friend lost one of their children at the age of six months. They mourned, and, instead of blaming each other or anyone else for their loss, they enthusiastically started working on the next child. Probably the healthiest way to deal with the loss of a child.

His broader point is also true. Things are tough. The toughest I’ve seen in my adult life. But the good side is, I’m out of debt, my mortgage is paid, and I have some savings. Enough to live on for several years if need be. You won’t ever see me out rioting. My problems are mine, not caused by some generic ‘rich person’. George Soros excepted.
