2. That last paragraph Drew, almost all of it has come out of my mouth, but I could never quite figure out how to elegantly deal with not sunsetting certain laws like the one against murder, but by applying the 10 year sunset to all laws in the last 50 years, I think you’ve got it!

   Serious question:  Is there any way, other than a huge grass roots campaign of independents to win out over incumbents in nearly every district, that this idea could allow the capture of the House and the Senate in sufficient numbers to be able to pass something like this with a 67% margin so it would be veto proof?  “Hey, Mr. President, we really don’t care if you are for or against this.  This massive reduction of government is the new way.  Suck it.”

   It’s a good dream.  It makes me smile.  I’d like to see it become reality.
