5. When you get that far, try for scrith, Pak Protectors, and the travel directions for the Integral Trees. Damn that Niven, best SciFi ever written.

   I propose a handi-Spock LL&P - thumb out, pinky out, middle 3 fingers together. It’s close, it may be easier for some to do, and it won’t be confused with Scissors. Or even a “starsign” fully splayed hand. Good enough.
