  1. Very moving.  Very.  Brings me to tears.

Why can’t our media show this?  God, I’m beginning to hate my own country.  But it’s just transference for the MSM and people like Durbin, et.al.

  2. How is it that the children of the world, who all seem to flock to US servicemen, can see so much more clearly than the moonbats?

  3. The quislings within are at least as dangerous to us as the enemies without.

    wink

Subject:  Turban Durbin and the History Lesson

    Senator Durbin,

How kind of you to refer to our nation’s military as Nazis, or guards at Gulags, or members of Pol Pot’s regime. I assume the link below describes well the horrors you envision our men and women in uniform are inflicting on the Iraqi’s:

Hmmm… I wonder who tied this poor kid to a cinder block and left him in the desert? Karl Rove? Dick Cheney?

You are a disgrace to this nation. Clearly you are not a Thinker.

PS. Say hi to Jane Fonda for me.

  5. #2 Jackbrownil you are so right.  Every damn picture you see with kids in it - they are all smiles, gathered around our soldiers.

Ever since I became a father to a little boy who is now just over two years old, this type of stuff makes me really emotional.  ‘Specially when it’s a little boy getting hurt.  This little guy is a bit browner than mine, but he’s a little boojee all the same (boojee is my kid’s nickname)

  6. Bob,

I know that.  My father, a retired Colonel, was 33 years in the Army as a Professor of Military Science.  I hear John Philip Sousa songs and cry.  I am so damned patriotic that when I see pictures like this, I just lose it.  As I said, my anger at my country is more transference to the MSM for not showing this side of our military.  And, of course, my outrage at the enemies of our Constitution is direct.  No transference there.

I readily admit, however, at being blown away by the ever increasing treasonous actions of our own countrymen.  Perhaps I am more aghast at their stupidity and inability to judge with a modicum of foresight the results of those actions.

  7. What pains me even more is the thought that there are thousands of homeless American Veterans living on the streets, eating out of garbage cans with no hope of a better tomorrow. Why doesnt’ Senator “Turbin” worry about them?? Or do they not further his political agenda. You, Senator, are a disgrace to not only America, but to the whole human race. May your sorry ass rot in the same place that your friends in Gitmo are going to rot in. You deserve each other.

  11. Tex,

The photos of me bound to the Captain’s mast are the best.

    But, ohh… those rope burns!

The Captain put salve on them, though.  He was most tender and caring.
