  1. I plan to cook Mexican. I can do it myself, you see.

  2. I already had plans for taking that day off, now I have even better justifications LOL

  3. This works for me. I just mowed today - so next Friday it will be due. I can refrain from running to the Border for a day. And the other Mexican resturants here suck big time. Heck it’s even hard to get good Mexican fixins - these people don’t have a clue. Have had to make my corn tortillas myself as the ones they sell here look and taste like the flour ones. And it’s hard to find green chillies - forget fresh ones. I guess having spent 5 years in TX - ‘little Mexico’, I got spoiled being able to get the real Mexican fixins. Never went to a single Mexican resturant while down there.

I also plan to go out and buy a new microwave oven on Monday (among a few other things) will plan on hitting all my fav stores - let them know that this American will keep things running even if the illegals and their supporters plan to ‘bring everything to a stop’. My bet is on, biggest one day sales except for Friday after Thanksgiving. I think most Americans are tired of the bs. These whinners don’t have any rights, as they aren’t citizens and if they don’t like how we treat them - go home.

Our Butler county sheriff is at it again. He’s spent the week rounding up illegals and is putting up billboards today that say, if you employ illegals we will fine you. [He is the sheriff that sent a bill to Dept of Homeland security for all the illegals he has in the county jail]

  4. Comrades,

Yeah, friday works for me. I might even try and take out an add in the local paper for a block party, with funds raised to be dedicated to building the wall with Mexico.

    Respects,

  5. Why fly the Mexican flag upside-down when you can BURN it at a local Cinco de Mayo celebration. Be prepared. Be armed.

  6. I’m going to do my part to make May Day a real mayday: I’m going to go to lots of businesses and see if service is absent or diminished. If so then I’ll ask where the staff is. If they’re out protesting, then I’ll report the place the La Migra. Not that anything will be done, but that will be one more place they’ve been tipped off to, with a complaint. That’s supposed to be all it takes to start an investigation right? My guess is that the legals won’t be going to these protests. And the only Americans there will be our brainwashed kids in school.

Yeah, probably a total waste of time. But I’d like to do something, and its a long long way down to the border from here to join the Minutemen. And I hear they’re not even armed!

  7. Wardmama:  Sounds like you have a fine sheriff there!  But you’ll never see anything like that here in Bexar County, Texas.  Not with a sheriff named Ralph Lopez.  mad

  8. I’m going to rename the kids Beto and Paco and make them wash the car and do the gardening.

  9. Monday will come and go.
We’re not going to let illegals change our country and our laws.  cool smirk

  10. Hell no Goose! But this walk out is all over the news, and I get a really strong sense that the MSM is all in favor of it. Idjits.

  11. Actually I kinda don’t think most legal immigrants are real supportive of this - I want to believe that anyone with functioning brain cells is against it - because it is an affront to them (in a way) and all law abiding Americans.

And amnesty was tried and look, it didn’t make things better - they are worse.

Once again, one of the definitions of mental illness is doing the same thing over and over and over again expecting different results. . .

I just wish that our politicians would grow back bones . . . I mailed my Rep (our Senators are braindead libs) a brick (to help build the wall) that said - If you build it They will NOT come - with a letter, to back up my email requesting he stand firm against this garbage.
Maybe now that this poll came out that an independent who would build a wall would beat both a dem or a repub might get the point out to these jokers - since they all seem to be poll driven in this mid-term election year.

What a s****y way to run foreign and domestic policy - POLLS. Man I want someone who has the conviction to stand up for what he/she believes in. Oh man I just realized whats going on - - they are trying to get these 12 mil legalized before the election in the hopes that the dems might get back into power . . .how could we be so clueless. Means that the repubs should be fully agin this garbage.

  12. Taco Bell Mexican? It barely qualifies as a food like substance.

  13. Haha. Friday May 5 is the Friday before the Kentucky Derby, known as the ‘Day of the Fillies’ or the running of the Kentucky Oaks. Thousands upon thousands will descend upon Churchill Downs for a day of standing in the warm Kentucky sun (I hope - there have been times in the past when there’s been snow flurries during Oaks/Derby weekends) and getting absolutely shitfaced on those godawful mint juleps (and whatever other booze they’ll STILL manage to smuggle in despite the restrictions placed on carry-ins)

  14. Severa -

One would hope those good folks would be drinking some proper Kentucky bourbon instead !

BTW, you get my vote for most gorgeous avatar!! heart

I found this little article on the illegals situation. I agree with it: enforce the laws we have. If our elected officials don’t, then vote the bums out. I’ll add that we should then make new laws if needed, with the new people elected.

  16. Ha, great minds think alike! Looks like several other folks are planning on doing more than thier usual shopping Monday, and putting ICE on the speed dial. Kewl. It might mitigate things a little bit.

  17. Aww guys *blush* Stooooop.

  18. Betcha it’ll be a flop.  Maybe some noise in some larger cities.  Esp. California.
It’s not in my TV news when I’m tuned in, and not in the local paper.  None of my
    friends or neighbors are concerned.
