2. Guys ... here’s something even worse from a standpoint of totally screwed.

   At the moment, this country is in a financial mess left to it by the last govt. Yeah I know, we hear that a lot. Every party says that when coming to power. OK so, they are planning some very severe cuts across the board. Word is that not many will be untouched.
   I honestly don’t know how to describe how bad things have become.  It’s not the depression of course but the good times for now are over.
   There is something called “ring fenced” which means that some programs can not be touched.
   If a program has that tag, it is untouchable. Will you be at all surprised to learn that one ring fenced program is ....

   FOREIGN AID.

   Oh but wait. There’s more.

   Aid to poor countries is being increased by up to 40 percent!

3. ring fenced = sacred cow = pork program.

   But they can’t call it a sacred cow because that would offend the Hindus. And a pork program label would offend the muzzies. So what else could they call it?

   I would have thought that 3/4 of the UK would qualify as poor countries. If they take their own tax money and then give it to themselves, doesn’t that equate to a stimulus? Look how much extra cash is coming in! Woo hoo, fiscal nirvana!!

4. Michelle wears designer dresses.  Her designer has got to be Stevie Wonder.  It would explain sooooo much.  How much of the stimulus did Stevie get?  Inquiring minds yawn.
   But it’s a slow day.
