  1. I only did Les Mis once - can’t remember - but I believe my m-i-l took us to it in MI. I think (vaguely remember) a teacher forcing me to read it too. Depressing stuff. After being in France once - I know why - depressing place full of rude people. Who think that they are better than everyone else. Makes me wonder how/why they imported the 7th Century barbarians into their ‘fine’ Nation. Go figure that they would import the death of them, yet again.

I agree with you about the books - way too many - but I love to have them. Depressed as Bones got me reading the Reich’s books and then Rizzoli & Isles got my reading Gerritsen’s books - now they aren’t writing anymore. Probably being associated with hollyweird - ruins everyone, everything. Before I go on - Gerritsen is a doctor - her original books were medical mysteries - which I love having been raised surrounded by doctors. The Bone Garden is one of the best books I have ever read - a historical fiction of medicine and mystery. Really enjoyed it and usually re-read it once a year. I’m down to Lisa Black - Cleveland crime mysteries. She is ok. Did you read that some doctor said OH should be able to claim mental health assistance for all Bengals and Browns fans? I’m sure it was tongue firmly in cheek - but said - it’s real suffering here due to their terrible teams. Gotta love a good sense of humor. It’s so rare.

On that - Loved, loved, loved - the Globe’s MC for his monologue. Finally someone hit back at these fools. Loved the ‘most of you have spent less time in school than Greta Thunberg’ comment. Spot on.
