Mr. Bunnsy has a small adventure

 

1. I bought my first gun on Saturday at the Gun show. I’d been a little hesitant as I’ve taken (much to my detriment - had a reaction that almost killed me - some of the nifty ‘mental’ health drugs - don’t let anyone fool you, they are a godsend but still make your life he!! and not worth living, which is why I’m off and mood swing free for 12 years - go figure, but I’ll not do that again. Ever). Anyway, it was a single sheet - mostly was I a OH resident, where was I born, natural citizen and did I use illegal drugs, addicted or a fugitive. Grand questions. After I went out to the ATM - don’t like to pay 2% for a credit card fee - I’d cleared the background check (i.e. no wants or warrents) and walla - the proud owner for 5 months of a Walther P22 which will be one of the presents for my youngest’s 21st birthday in May. . .Had I known, I’d bought my own guns (a Carbine & a Glock 21).

   And the next day a fun time was had by all at the (a fair distance) outdoor range - where we shot all the new (a Thompson and 1911 and of course the P22) plus old guns and rifles. As hubby just started classes, it will be a while before we enjoy such fun.

   Less money sucks after you get use to a regular paycheck. Might just be time for me to go out and get a ‘real’ job!
