  1. Now hanging (proudly) on my office wall. Haven’t received any comments from coworks yet.

  2. OK - I need an education.  I assume upper left is Benedict Arnold. I know who the two shit stains on the lower right are.  I am fairly sure lower left are the Rosenbergs? (Ethel and Julius - the A-Bomb traitors) - but I do not have any idea who occupies upper right.  Please?

  3. Good IDs, T.  I agree with you and the upper right is the third Vice-President of the United States, Aaron Burr.

  4. And such as this is why this site is one of my daily reads. Get this on the air. Get Sen Liebermans statement on the air! Nationwide! Let’s just see the response, shall we? OH. HELL. YEAH.

  5. Yes that is Aaron Burr, who shot Alexander Hamilton in a duel.

After Burr resigned the Vice-Presidency in 1805, he journeyed into the American West, particularly in the lands in the Ohio River Valley and the Louisiana Purchase. While historians are uncertain as to Burr’s particular activities, he was accused in turns of having committed treason, of a conspiracy to steal Louisiana Purchase lands away from the United States and crown himself a King or Emperor, or of an attempt to declare an illegal war against Spanish possessions in Mexico (a process known then as filibustering). Burr was arrested in 1807 and brought to trial on charges of treason, for which he was acquitted. After several years in self-imposed exile in Europe, Burr returned to practicing law in New York City and lived a largely reclusive existence until his death. He died from eating too much pie!!!!

  6. So how do we stop this? I am beginning to feel as though it no longer matters what I write, who I send anything to - that no one on either side is listening at all. My local Rep is going to be in town in a couple of weeks - I shall be there and give him a word or two. He has really only voted out there once or twice - so I’m not that po’d with him. But I just feel like the rest of them are simply political hacks.

Sad day when one of the most liberal Dems makes more sense and holds the line with more dignity and truth than the entire population of congress repubs. . .

Maybe this is the next guy that should be sitting in the oval office?

  8. Maybe this is the next guy that should be sitting in the oval office?

He does have his exceedingly liberal tendencies, but on this he’s cool. Nope, we need Fred Thompson in the Oval Office. But, if ANY Democrats have earned a right not to be executed for treason, it would appear Joe is one of them.
