It seems to me that we’re losing the entire concept of citizenship. With every right comes a responsibility. In this case, the right to vote, is attached with the responsibility of being a citizen. What version of deconstructed reality is bringing this lunacy about and how did racism get to be part of it? In 1926 the vast majority of immigrants (My Grandparents and Mother for example) were of European ancestry, thereby cutting the racial claim of Professors Barron and Hayduk.
They aren’t “disenfranchised”.....they are ILLEGAL ALIENS!!!! They have no rights except to STFU and to go the hell back to where ever they came from!
As for immigrants in past eras voting, yes, they did. They also worked, and did not expect me and mine to support them with social services from cradle to grave. They learned English, they assimilated and they didn’t demand that everyone around them change to suit them.
The thrice-damned Democrats and their pandering.....there aren’t words adequate to describe the depths they will sink to.
You notice that when the lefties bring up the “non-voting taxpayer” argument, their answer is to always allow the illegals to vote in our elections. Never do they suggest that illegals not be required to pay taxes. I wonder why that is.....
No, we are not losing the concept of citizenship - it is being stolen from us. Stolen by globalists.
I have an American friend who was posted to Japan for four years, I spent a couple years in Italy, other colleagues a year or more in England, Germany, Switzerland, and nobody ever offered us a vote there. Do our troops vote in Iraq and Afghanistan? In fact, do any non-citizen emigres get to vote anywhere in the world besides the country where they hold citizenship? God bless the legal immigrants who go through the process and become American citizens, and as candyuniverse said so eloquently “they are ILLEGAL ALIENS!!!! (CRIMINALS) They have no rights except to STFU and to go the hell back to where ever they came from!”
