  1. Yep ... every time I play dead, the mrs grabs hold of the twig-n-berries and gives them a good twist.  Boy, do I wake up in a hurry.  I hear it works for Bulls too, but results may vary.

  2. Hey now! I happen to luv squirrel, with a couple a sides like smashed tater n’ gravy, and cowfodder(blackeyed or purple hull, take ya pick)or some greens. Prefers just fried over BBQ’d though.

  5. Squirrels are nothing but rats with a better Press Agent.

.22 hell!  I’ve used the beloved M1911A1 to dispatch the little buggers.  Little more challenging than a .22LR.

  7. Who knows what kind of diseases that moonbat woman exposed herself to by giving that squirrel mouth to mouth.  What an idiot!

  8. When I was pregnant i got into the habit of moving dead animals that were intact off the road-so they would find dignity in death.
When my now ex found out he almost had a cardiac arrest.I stopped after that.*grin*
Btw-I would give mouth to mouth to my cats in a heart beat.

  9. Oh-as an animal lover and non-hunter I find that pictire to be kind of sickening!

  10. I’d be curiuos as to this moonbat’s thoughts on human life. Maybe the miscreant in the car should have driven off the mountain to save the squirrel.

If I recall correctly the speed limit on the Blue ridge parkway is 25 mph. If I’m wrong, then it’s no higher than 30 or 35 mph. Nobody’s rocketing through there. It’s a narrow and twisting road with some beautiful scenery and plenty of viewing places they call “overlooks”.

I’d call it a squirrel suicide. Maybe Faye drove fuzzy tail to do it with her constant whining and fawning.

  11. Hmmm…

A .22 to the head would have been far more humane and merciful to that squirrel than adding to its pain the terror of having some massive creature, many times your size, wrapping its mouth around your muzzle and forcing air into your already-collapsed and failing lungs…

I would, and have, delivered the “mercy shot” to animals wounded beyond help or hope.  Unless you have the knowledge, training, and equipment, attempting to “save” the animal is just foolhardy, and will most likely result in not just a dead critter, but a dead critter whose last moments were utter terror.  I own pets myself, and would rather they not suffer, period.  When prolonging survival becomes difficult enough that the animal is suffering more than necessary, then ending the animal’s life is the most humane thing to do.

This woman, rather than understanding and accepting this, mixed her pseudo-informed and animal-worshipping ideas with the egotistic idea that she “knew better than everyone else.” And now she’s mad, because no one’s giving her a piece of cake for her “heroic efforts.”

And no, before some animal-worshipper chimes in, animals are NOT equitable to people in this sort of situation.  Animals have minds and emotions, definitely, but do not have that intrinsic worth that comes from being human.  In short, animals do not have souls (atheists and animal-worshipping pagans are free to squeal in outrage at this statement).

  12. Damn squirrels are everywhere........kill them all, I say.............Last week I had a man come into my ER who was bitten by a squirrel at his place of work.......needless to say this patient is now undergoing the rabies vaccine protocol........the squirrel? Never found, so cannot be tested for rabies..............Also had a woman come in who was bitten on the chest by an unknown varmit/insect, etc.......Since her husband raised the possibility that it might have been a bat (they live out on a farm), now she also is undergoing the rabies vaccine protocol- the bat? never found.......2 in one week? - very unusual.......
