Too bad this jackass didn’t do his research better (where’d he get these talking point, the Brady website?), or we would have heard how Chicago and D.C. have the highest gun related crimes AND the most restrictive gun laws in the U.S.
Fark off! No sane member of the U.S Government is going to state they are for tougher gun laws, it’s a nearly automatic failure for their campaign.
Oh, go read the papers of the founding fathers, d***weed - they clearly state the purpose of the second amendment is two fold - 1. For the People to protect themselves. 2. For the Government to fear the People.
Tired of the journalists who think they can change the constitution with a stroke of their pen - dumbass, do you realize that you got your first amendment right to free speech because the second amendment?

Holy crap, is he still going on with the BS “commas” argument? Get a Effin Clue loseroid: the Supremes have made their ruling. And the rest of us have ALWAYS known about the old style of writing with the various clauses in the beginning: all it ever meant was “Here is but one example that shows why the next part is the way it is.” So bugger off.
And YES, the US of A is supposed to be an armed republic. Every citizen, with a firearm, in their damn hands, every hour of every day. Because only then will there be NO crime. No rapes, no murders, no assaults, no robberies, no bullying. Fuck with me and I will shoot you dead: that’s what it’s all about. America. We call that freedom. Freedom from abuse, freedom from being a victim, and freedom from ever even needing the officers of the king to keep the King’s Peace, when we all know how corruptable they really are. And without all that crap, where even the weakest are fully equal and given respect and fair treatment, we can then move on to the good part, what we call The Pursuit of Happiness.
After a couple generations, the knowledge that every citizen has the power to blow your dumb fucking head off in their hands at all times tends to develop a kinder, gentler citizen, with naturally high morals and a friendly manner. Because all the scuzz-buckets are dead already, and thus not breeding any longer.
The only time the guns thing becomes a problem is when the guns get in the hands of people who are citizens by the pure luck of being here, but who have never EARNED freedom for themselves nor their forebears either, nor those who chose to come here to GET that freedom. The ones who have NO RESPECT for our traditions and NO KNOWLEDGE of what begin an American is all about. Those who join gangs, those who are the criminal element, those who prey on the weak ... those who contend that our Constitution is a fundamentally flawed document and say so while running for election. Those are the ilk that is doing the greatest number of “gun crimes”, and unfortunately has the media in their pocket pushing their nebulous lifestyle and all it’s baser aspects as the cool thing for the rest of us to emulate ... put yourself back in the gutter your great grandparents crawled out of and ran away from. Riight. Anyway, once you remove that group’s numbers from the shooting statistics, you find that the rest of America is a darned peaceful place.
PS - it’s a total red flag (and I mean RED flag in every way you can mean it) to give shooting numbers for Brits, when the people have mostly been disarmed. Add in the number of “Knife Crimes” and “Cricket Bat Crimes” or whatever y’all use on each other, and maybe then we can compare apples to apples.
PPS - Wardmama is right as usual: get the crazy people back in the wards where they once were, and almost all of these mass shootings stop happening.
