  1. Chris ... Hope you’re feeling okay. Did they think anything related to weight?

OK, your post here. Where did you find that?  Very good find and it surprised me greatly. I had never seen and or heard anything like that.
Normally, I am not a fan of that sort of music or singing. Not my thing at all. Or ,,,
It wasn’t. Photography and art outstanding of course.  I am a huge fan of the architecture of old England. For me to sit thru 5minutes and not hit the mute says a lot. I think I’ve just been exposed to something new and unexpected and find I like it. At any rate, I like this choice. Will now have to explore.
Thanks Much and very well done.

  2. I went through a phase when I liked to sample Renaissance music. I still like it, but it’s hard to find.

I’ve a couple of CDs put out by The Baltimore Consort. I mistakenly attributed it to the Música Antiqua de Albuquerque, which is also worth your time and money. Watkins Ale is by far the most risqué of the songs. I just searched YouTube for Watkins Ale and voilá. Believe me when I say that the songstress in this version is far inferior to the songstress on the The Baltimore Consort CD, which, btw, is entitled Watkins Ale: Music of the English Renaissance. Available on their website.

As for the photography and art, you’ll have to credit whoever posted it on YouTube. I noticed a lot of Queen Elizabeth I images. Right time period. I was just looking for the song. Maybe I should take his video, strip out the lousy soundtrack, and insert the Baltimore Consort soundtrack?

As for weight. Other than giving me dietary advice, no. Heart and blood pressure are fine. Cholesterol is just a little high (217, docs like it under 200, but my ‘good’ cholesterol is very high), but that’s probably because of my love of cheese. I’ll not give up cheese. Or bacon. They still think anxiety/panic attack.

  3. Yes to both Cheese and Bacon. And the bacon here is far superior to that which is available back home. At least in Calif. Trust me on that. Bacon and Cheese on fresh bread and almost time for supper here. Now why have become hungry sooner then usual?
Re Health and bacon.  One of those health things in paper a month or 2 back had an article that said all the bad things about bacon were not entirely true, that bacon and even eggs were now back on the healthy to eat list, so long as done on moderation. Well heck, that’s true of almost anything.
