  1. He not only contributes to New Jersey Democrats but to those of neighboring states too.  Your right, if he was a top contributor to prominent Republicans it not only would be front page news but also top news for CBS, NBC,ABC, and CNN.

  2. Just the Usual Suspects doing what they do.

Remember Jack Ryan in Illinois?  He got in trouble for wanting to have sex with his own wife!!

The Donk’s seem to be always “hunting off the reservation” and paying for it as well.

  3. If he was a fund raiser for Republicans, the title would have been “Bush’s New Jersey fund-raiser charged”.  And Bush would have been mentioned by name in the first two sentences.  Typical.  Idiots.

CNN.com is the most liberal of all news outlets.  Check this story on Whoopi being dropped by Slim-Fast.  http://www.cnn.com/2004/SHOWBIZ/Movies/07/16/political.whoopi.ap/index.html

Here was my reply to them:

Why do you and your cohorts at AP continually try to bash President Bush and the Republican party???

In today’s story on Slim-Fast’s decision to drop Whoopi Goldberg from its advertising campaign (http://www.cnn.com/2004/SHOWBIZ/Movies/07/16/political.whoopi.ap/index.html) the following line is totally unnecessary:

“The Slim-Fast Foods Co. is based in West Palm Beach, Florida, where President Bush’s brother, Jeb, is governor.”

First of all, what does the fact that Jeb Bush is governor of Florida have any relevance on the story?

Secondly, Slim-Fast is owned by Unilever, whose World Headquarters is in London.  So if the governor of Florida is relevant to the story, why didn’t you mention Tony Blair is PM of great Britain and supported Bush’s invasion of Iraq?

Lastly, this was not “celebrity censure”, especially in this context.  Censure is a procedure only a legislature con invoke.  “Rebuke” would be more appropriate here.  But I like how it correlates to MoveOn.org’s talking point to Censure Bush.

Slim-Fast’s decision to drop Ms Goldberg was theirs alone most likely because her ‘rant’ was a breach of the morality clause of her contract with them.  Trying to politicize it as your article did only deepens the divide in this country.

Little subtleties like this are practices Liberals use to try to convince people that GWB and the GOP are out to get anybody that is not a white conservative.

    STOP THE BIAS!!!
