more law and disorder and the joke named justice

When I first read the title of you post title “ More law and disorder and the joke named justice“ I immediately thought of Moore’s Law, the one that says computer power doubles every 18 months or so.
There must be some kind of a corollary Law for political corruption --- “It doubles every 18 months a politician spends in office.”
I’m still trying to figure out how she got to be a baroness. Those things are for sale or something?
