1. There was a bit on the news here last night, how in the prison complex at Riker’s Island in NYC the smoke alarms and sprinkler systems are non-functional and have been broken for ages. The reporter went on and on and on about code violations, safety risks, budget money spent, yadda yadda yadda, but never said one word about the truth: put plumbing fixtures in prison cells and they get taken apart and used as weapons.

   I sat there watching, thinking just how little a shit I could give that the lowlifes there might accidentally burn to death should they start a fire. Who cares? Not me.

   Guess that makes me a nutter too.

2. I agree - what astounds me is that few people see this as a liberal/left/progressive way to actually clamp down completely on everyone - after the chaos and anarchy reach such a crescendo that ‘citizens’ beg for gov to ‘do something.’ BTW, I saw a quick piece (did not go to read the whole thing, the here in America the Muslim Lawyers are working toward getting Sharia Law ‘allowed to be practiced’ here in America. Be afraid, very afraid.

   BTW, for those who have the ducats to actually fly - here in the US - the TSA Secure Flight ‘requirement’ goes into effect on Monday which ‘will require all airlines to provide passenger lists that include the full name, gender and birthdates of every passenger on the flight’ - Never forget people -
   1) If a liberal ever, ever votes for anything - it is a way to get their toe in the door to take away another Right and/or Freedom from We The People - Homeland Security be damned.
   2) Even though not mentioning at all - to whom and what Agency this information is going to (or for what reason) - realize that the Gov has just kicked open that door even further to track each and every citizen in just another way ‘to protect us’.

4. Who cares? Not me.

   Guess that makes me a nutter too.

   Well, now that’s two of us.
   Reading this weekend really a discouraging activity and that’s the honest truth.
   Not feeling 100% and altho I may have joked about it in past, I’m wondering if maybe what I call my imaginary ulcer, is real after all.  And all due to the things I can’t help but read in the papers.

   Example, these child killers and rapists in jail, one guy who murdered 13 women. And yet women write to them and say they are in love etc. I’d expected one at least to look pretty bad but no. She’s enamored and he’s jailed for killing two little girls. They want to marry.  Makes me want to grow hair so I can pull it all out. 

   Oh yeah. Meanwhile a filthy shit head named Giles Coren, writing in the Times says ....

   Americans love killing people which is why they execute their own citizens.

   Damn that sob. I’d love to take a bat to the bastard. He was referring to the execution of that killer in Az. of course. It just really bothers the life outta me when these foreign turds mouth off and with stupid things like that. And naturally there’s an audience for them. rcob!
