2. When I was like 11 or 12 years old and in the Boy Scouts, we did an impromptu skit based on an issue of MAD Magazine.

   Ever since then I’ve remembered the punchline:

   With all these dire warnings
   Of Pain, Doom, and Strife
   It’s hard to imagine
   A fate worse than Life.

   Back then global cooling was the rage…
