1. Sans the snow - that’s about it here. It is so cold and makes me want to just stay in (without snow & a ski lift - what is the point of going out in winter). Oh well - not very jinggly here - No jobs, no money and no prospects. It is going to be a dismal holiday - but we will get through - at least we have enough coming in to keep a roof over our head and it heated enough so that we won’t be found huddled together (having been nibbled on by the cats) in spring.

   I can’t believe it’s almost Christmas and I haven’t done a bit of shopping - must get finished with a box to the beloved son in the ‘Stan. That has to go out in the next week.

   I suppose a good sign - locally I’ve seen a marked increase on creche/nativity scenes. If I can - I shall slide one in when I finally (hopefully tomorrow or Sat) do the dirty deed of facing the masses to buy for the children and grandkids - only. Maybe next year will be better.

2. Wasn’t it last winter you Brits froze your asses off, while the Guv’munt gave a huge raise to some dipshit who predicted a warm winter? Due to Global Warming, natch.  Here in the Heartland of America (Fuck Yeah!) we’re freezing our nuts.  We haven’t had a white Christmas in years, but we have 3 inches of snow on Dec. 3.

3. Got a bit of snow here North of the Pitt. Just a powdering, not much. I’ll be in Texas for Christmas though, so small chance of seeing the white stuff for Christmas.

   And while Mac does some good stuff, I like Charles Addams a bit more.
