More Good News From Europe

 

1. It’s a terrible habbit, Vilmar.  Aside from cancer, it’s the best way for women to prematurely look like hold hags.  That’s why I don’t do sun.  A long time ago, when I was on a ski vacation in Switzerland, the Euro-peons were going on about how pale I was and how I should get some color in my face.  Needless to say, I didn’t listen to them.

2. Vilmar, if you read that article closely it looks like someone is suggesting that the EU start to over-regulate tanning salons. If I read these quotes right, I would give 3:1 odds that the EU will pass some socialist plan that taxes the hell out of this business or just outright shuts it down. “Promoted by an unregulated, multibillion dollar industry, tanning devices in commercial studios are popular among whites, especially in western Europe and increasingly eastern Europe”, “ the U.N. agency said, adding it would also add substantial costs to national health systems.”
   As someone who has spent a great deal of time working and playing outside I take that skin cancer bit damn seriously. Also I think Lisar915 has hit it on the head, it will make you look older than you are.
   But I doubt that this is too big a deal in Eurarabia. It sounds like an excuse for the socialist elites to drive a handful of freedom loving capitalists into the dirt.
