Their argument makes no sense.  It would if plastic grocery bags were the only garbage being picked up off the streets.  I’d wager that’s not the case.  So....if they are already paying cleanup crews, how does taxing 1 item save them any money?  All this is is a backdoor way to add to the coffers.  Amazing to me is the fact that Californicators can’t ever seem to get enough government involvement in their daily lives while the rest of us want just the opposite.  What a bunch of fuckwads!
