  1. The elements of truth in the story:

    George W. Bush was in the Texas Air National Guard.
    At one point his commanding officer was Lt. Colonel Jerry Killian.
    He was a fighter pilot.
    He didn’t take his physical.
    He was taken off of flight status.

    Did I miss any?
