Cause MY response would be, OK, ALL Americans out of Haiti - jack up airfares/cruise ship prices that go there to make it out of reach for most - and let the rank & file there deal with their “leaders” ....................... ungrateful bastards!!!

What is sad - is that this is not the people who need the items - this is a bunch of activists that are - omg I can’t believe I’m stooping this low - planting ‘seeds’ of hatred into the hearts and minds of a people so down on their luck - that survival is now questionable in the long term.
And sadly - since these people obviously have no education and have put up with this s*** for so many decades - they will buy into it and thus go without and continue to whine until they kill each other or starve to death.
I agree - ungrateful bastards all.
‘Social Justice’ - from socialists and communists is just such a hypocrisy that it is stunning it gets any traction at all in the real world.

Well we all need an example of how life would be if the the lefties actually ran things here in total and there it is in living and dying color.
In my next life Im coming back as a seagull with an attitude toward moonbats,,,plop/splat.Makes me wonder how many other so called “charities” amount to tossing your money out the car window crossing a bridge? I said before if any of the money America alone had donated to Haiti had actually reached the people it was meant for, they’d all be rich and living high. It’s just the lefties milking the guilt of the successful.
But gray john - here is the real question of this whole ‘guilt’ of the ______ (fill in the blank - white man, rich, successful, conservative etc) - What in the World do I have to feel guilty for? I have never enslaved anyone, I don’t call anyone N***** or other such so called ‘racial slur’. When the basis of the word is - oh my - the basis of the word and thus I have to wonder as to how it became a ‘racial slur’ when it is simply a definitive word. But I’m getting off topic.
In this World there are two people - Those who take their lives and do - and those who do not. Why should I feel guilty for choosing (and at many points being pushed and/or dragged) doing - when others do not? I did not enslave them, I did not make the choice for them. It wasn’t me - I was simply living my life with what I had.
And why should I feel ‘guilty’ that these people - did not leave their abject situation (take a look around - millions of people have walked away with nothing to get out of a bad situation) and why should I feel guilty because they chose not to do something, anything to change their situation?
And the same here in America - poverty is not a absolute - it is not something you have no choice about nor can never, ever change. So why should I feel anything for people who sit around and do nothing to change their situation - there are many stories of young people who chose to study, chose to get an education and move out of their impoverished condition. And color or gender had nothing to do with it. See Oprah Winfrey for what a person can rise above and become in America.
You know what the stats are in AA college rates - 97% fail. That is because they don’t want to do the work necessary (even when it is provided at no cost to them and the process is guaranteed) - and for what reason am I to feel guilty about this?
The very people attempting to make the majority of Americans feel like they are Hitler wannabes and thus should feel guilty - are extremely wealthy and do nothing to help their fellow citizen (to include hiring illegals) - so I find the whole argument specious.
I have no Hati donation to rescind - I made a donation of clothing (through the HS) for Katrina and then began to see how ungrateful and demanding the ‘victims’ (never forget the ‘gentleman’ who sued for a gazillion dollars’) were and I said Nope, not falling for it again. Then my decision was confirmed - here there is a huge billboard - Hati needs your donation and less than 4 miles down the road is a huge new Red Cross building going up - Use that money if Hati is in such need.
For me - I do not give hypocritical jerks the power to make me feel guilty. The ‘victims’ do not deserve it and the people in distress are there because they won’t do the work necessary to make their lives better - NOT MY PROBLEM.
And finally - these are also the same people who go around screeding that America should not be the World police and yet who want America to fund every single ‘disaster’ and recovery the World over. These are people who foolishly do believe that MONEY fixes anything/everything. Money is not the answer - billions pour into many 3rd World cesspool countries every day - granted due to petty dictators - it does not get to where it was meant - but the answer is not more money. Blame the dictators, blame the people who won’t rise up and remove him (or voted for him) - don’t blame Me. And don’t expect me to fund the next problem.
Send food, send medicine and maybe a search & rescue dog or two - but then let the people themselves pick themselves up and fix their own home, fix their own lives - they will, in the end, be better people for it.
In America and all over the World.
I’m just going to say SCREW THEM, LET THEM STARVE! Anybody that stupid doesn’t deserve to live. Darwin would have sorted their stuff out long ago, were it not for the “interference” of those they appear to feel “evil”.
