  2. Allan,
Since I live here and I have to go to work today in this crap, I hope the waiter sticks his thumb in your next bowl of soup.
    GRRRRR!  I fucking hate Mondays…

  4. High Desert Forecast for Monday:

    High: 80
    Low: 43
    Mostly Sunny
    Wind: N/W 2 mph

Did anyone, other than me, see the Discovery Channels “Supervolcanoe” yesterday?

“Scientist say that Yellowstone National Park sits atop one of the Earths largest volcanoes. What if it erupted?”

Kind of a: After the fact, what If, worst case scenario, documentary/doomsday warning, if Bush had only acted and signed Kioto, end of the world America, Movie.

As part of the story, 30% of the population is dying from Montana to North Carolina due to Ash Fall, Mexico has closed it’s borders to Americans and the President (a Woman...Hmm...I wonder Who?) has taken AirForce one to an undisclosed bunker in Florida.

In the end Vilmar, OldCatman, Macker and Oink are left to repopulate the species. Through some sort of mutation I suppose. Sorry ALT, Chicago is buried under 2 feet of ash concrete and the Lake is filled with mud.

  5. Depends on what the meaning of doomsday is.

You guys survive by hiding in self composting, underground septic tanks that provide you with a 30 year supply of Protein. I guess that is where the mutations come from.

The Adam/Eve thing is no longer required. Remember We started with only Adam. Eve was either an afterthought or an upgrade from the first attempt.

There is a species of snail that has two types of male. One can change itself to female at will for reproduction. I think some seahorses can too. So… no real need for doggiestyle other than recreation.

  6. My Eve is...elsewhere...sigh…

  7. The weapon of the brave is in his heart.

Your Eve, knows this Mac, and you, and feels the same way.

  9. Unfortunately, an eruption like the one in the show is possible. Unfortunately, it is not preventable, or anywhere as easy to detect, as an asteroid strike (provided that we develop defences before it is too late). Fortunately, I don’t think it will happen like in the show. I tend to avoid movies like that and The Day After Tommorow. Although, Mexico WOULD close its border to us. Look at what they are doing at THEIR southern border.

Anyways, that couldn’t be as bad as 10.5. Just from the commercials for that I could tell it was crap without seeing it.

So much for an open mind, huh rasberry

  10. Had a rather odd weather weekend. Friday (and most of the previous week): mid 60’s-70’s, sunny, in Prescott, AZ. Saturday: snow and wind excaim Today: upper 60’s and (very) sunny.

Quite warm. Got my cooler going. I think it is in the 50’s or below in my room cool smirk

Might need one of these when I go back “home:” SoCal, no AC in house. I sure will miss AZ. Oh well.
