As a former Infantryman in the 24th Infantry Division (until it became the 3rd ID?)I am still dumbfounded as to why there is even a trial. This was NOT torture! The soldiers involved may have acted in poor judgment, but give me a break!! Give them extra duty on KP and send them back. What the fuck kind of military are we going to have with the PC culture infiltrating the ranks and turning of fighting forces into a bunch of pussies?!?! When you send a soldier into battle, the mission is quite clear, “Kill anyone with a weapon and break everything they have with them at the time.” The rest is up to the Civil Affairs units. As an after thought, Skipper, I’ll except whatever avatar you do deem appropriate.
