“Lewd and lacivious battery” Damn! They don’t make laws like that now-a-days. What a loss..
Parents day at my son’s high school, the Englist Lit. teacher was telling about a student’s reaction to reading ‘Dracula’.
“Isn’t there ..uh, a lot of sexual tension in the story?”
“I told her, well.. maybe if this was college we could discuss that subject..”
Voice from audience(no me): “Yeah, what do High School students know about sexual tension?”
I feel old. Back in my day, we had the usual scandals at Old Bedrock High (Yabba Dabba Do!) but not one rumor of a teacher’s sexual misconduct with students. Of course it’s true, thinking back on how most of the teachers looked ...
I know I can always count on you two to pounce on any story pertaining to .
Methinks counseling is called for here. Either that or I need to send inflatable love dolls to both of ya.

BAD PIG! BAD PIG!
The title, “Misbehaving Teachers, Part XXL VIII” Bad Roman Numerals!
More correct would be ”LXIX”.
sigh does anyone get it? does anyone really care? does anyone really know what day it is?
Oink,
it’s even funnier if you don’t translate the roman numerals. It’s close to “licks”, which would also be applicable
Pay attention Oink!
XXL = my shirt size
VIII = what you get if you engage in LXIX
AVE CAESAR, MORITURI RIDENTEM TE SALUTANT!
OK, I admit, it took me a few minutes to figure this one out.
VIII = 8 = ate—CHECK!
“We who are about to die laughing...”—GOT IT!
“Duh, Gee Tennessee!”
Kids now days dont know how good they have got it. Having teachers that look like Debra Lafave and getting to sex them as well.
What ever happened to the good old days when children were children & teachers were teachers????????? The only thing closest to a teacher gone bad was in 4th grade when Sister Mary Claudia (who was at least 80 years old - I can see her to this day) would run her hand up a girls leg while the girl was standing next to her desk.............We all would just giggle & run away........Why? Because the nuns were all perfect - or so we were told.........
In high school (Catholic of course) we all had a crush on Father Kenney who taught Latin.......He was young, had red hair & was handsome...........but we all knew he was “forbidden fruit” - after all, he was a priest............There was never a scandal in our high school among students & priests..........The only scandal was if a girl got pregnant outside of school & had to leave to go to a Home for Pregnant Teens - she was never to be seen again............The only other type of scandal in those days would be if a student got caught smoking (OMG - smoking!!!!!!) in the restroom.........
I suppose there were things that happened in my small (non-Catholic) town that got hushed up, or never reported. Hard to believe today, but sex was never discussed by adults. Today we have the opposite problem. Many people believed that, next to murder, sex was the worst sin. I remember telling my kids that pride, envy, spite were far, far worse. My daughter found this hard to believe, until I asked her what’s required to commit a “perfect sin”. “Full knowledge and complete freedom.” “And how often does this happen in sexual matters?” “Of course, never!”
We confuse the merely embarrassing with the truly deadly.
Hmmm, during the late 60’s early 70’s I had a GF in high school. We broke up and went our separate ways. Recently I found out from a mutual friend that after my GF and I had broken up, she took up with a track coach (male) and had a fling with a teacher. A few years later with one divorce under her belt she came back to the coach and got married. I suspect that she forced the coach to resign his teaching position after they married. They were a match made in heaven (not). She finally came to her senses and divorced him as well.
OCM: No question that Catholic schools beat the hell out of public ones at a fraction of the cost. True, having parents who care enough about education to pay for it out of their own pocket helps.
Kirk: We had a similar incident a couple of years ago with a teacher. BUT the student was 17, and by the time it went to court she was 18 and married to the ex-teacher. Made it silly to sentence him to hard time. He got no jail time—I really should check if they’re divorced yet. Most cases aren’t like this.
If I were a teacher I’d have a video recorder in my office and carry a tape recorder whenever I spoke with a student in private.
