Shouldn’t affect night ops; plus, that’s when most of them make a run for it anyway. These guys may be more dedicated and stick out the days, too, as long as they have water.
And another thing. These advocates of open borders saying it’s wrong to patrol the borders blah blah blah...that’s like saying you don’t have a right to lock the door to your house. Borders, language, culture; lose any one of them and you lose your country. Simple as that. Next.
Don’t look now, INC, but quite a number of those “advocates of open borders” probably WOULD say that you don’t have the right to lock the door to your house.
How many are already saying that you don’t have the right to defend it? Or to own the means of self-defense?
Tannenberg, how silly of me. I recently read a study that said locking the doors to your house actually causes an increase in crime. By not allowing the criminal free access to rape your family and pillage your home, the criminal is forced to break in, either to your house or somebody else’s. After being forced to break in he is much more likely to be angry with you and act with violence if confronted…
I missed that study, INC, but I am hardly surprised. It seems as if the same old Axis Against Humanity is at work again. Liberals, criminals and scum. Scum, criminals and liberals. Where you find one, you find all. The same old symbiotic relationships, the same old convergence of interests.

I recall commenting here before about the Mexican border in a discussion about narco-trafficers with OCM.
I live in this area. I can tell you how porous the border is, very! A 23 mile stretch is nothing. I would bet that the narco-trafficers have already moved operations to the ‘side’ of the Minutemen. Remember “Scarface”? I thought it was very violent, gratuitously so, but the violence portrayed in that movie is NOTHING compared to how these folks really work.
The run-of-the-mill Mexican coming to el Norte to find work is, for the most part, harmless. It is the ones showing up for criminal opportunity that needs to be addressed. The country needs real reform of immigration law that makes sense. The Donkeys and the Elephants have both shown themselves too lazy to really study and understand the real issues.
[IMHO - anyone who spends too much time east of the Mississippi and north of the Mason-Dixon line has their brains atrophy from lack of use. The SecWar barely missed being counted as one of those poor unfortunates.]
“Santa Fe City Councilman David Pfeffer said he wants to bring the Minuteman Project to New Mexico.” Huh, from liberal Santa Fe? The liberals there must have thrown this guy out. Well, the border is just as long here and just as hard to defend.
Folks, this issue is not new. The idea of sealing &/or patrolling the NM border has been up for discussion around here for a long time. It is too expensive to try to seal the whole thing with either men or technology.
The real issue is this. Why do Mexicans or Asians or Pac-rim citizens or anyone else want to come here? Economic opportunity! Simple, plain answer. Why? Because their home countries cannot provide the same opportunities. So, how do you fix this? That is not a simple question or answer, and not for today’s discussion.

Agrees with comment #7..only way to go ...keeps things simple too.
Why do you think that whitehouse.com is a porn site? Because that is somewhere that a lot of people, especially naive kids, will go to! If just one percent like what they see, you got lots of money! And it’s a real shame.
Guess who went to whitehouse.com before figuring out what was what?
