million dollar castle becoming faulty towers. some interesting photos and story

 

1. Might it say something important that the ignorant of the past created and built castles and other things that survive centuries and the rich and aspiring to power can’t build something to survive one???

   What a waste of money - and now the taxpayers are going to have to foot the bill to fix it up - typical liberal logic - if it can be foisted upon the taxpayers and waste money - Yeah, that’s the ticket.

2. Wardmom… The National Trust is self funding and ppl are always leaving them named in wills.
   They have properties that are rented out to movies etc. Also, ppl buy tickets to tours and events.

   Good point on the buildings of the past. And they were better looking too.

3. Sorry - if National is in it - here that means the taxpayers are funding it - without their consent (most of the time).
