3. Frankly I think the Military is just as top heavy as any federal agency and should be thinned from time to time.Wish we could do the same thing at EPA,IRS,HHS and others as easy as they do the military.

5. including some serving in Afghanistan

   Used to be, under real American Presidents and DOD and Generals - Combat Veterans could only be kicked to the curb for a criminal act.

   Glad that my son made it to LTC and only has less than 3 years left to retire. My son-in-law wasn’t so fortunate and had to walk - just short of a full retirement.

   A real bunch of sick, dangerous people we have in power right now - and that includes the DNC.

   BTW, did you see the video of Rep Pelosi running toward the GOP Rep who simply pointed out her lies on the Immgration bs - and they wanted to censure Joe Wilson for saying ‘You Lie.’ But then again - it is the way with tyrants, dictators and elitists - The Laws/Rules are for the little people, not for us.

6. A very important difference Rich: The military is a Constitutional part of government. The others you mention aren’t. We did just fine before Nixon created the EPA in 1972. Did fine before the IRS… A result of the 16th Amendment in 1912? Don’t remember the exact year, but it was Woodrow Wilson (May He Burn In Hell) MHBIH? I like that. Kinda like the Muslims PBUH when talking about their pedophile prophet.

   And don’t get me started on HHS, unConstitutional in any event.
