  1. Good news indeed, Allan.  As Ayn Rand put it, kill the soul and you have killed the hero in man.

  3. Hey! I have some good news for Easter, too!!  I would like to tell you all that I have received an appointment from the United States Air Force Academy.  Take a gander! You’re looking at a member of the class of 2009 of the USAFA and a future officer of the United States Air Force!

    Kristin

    PS Now salute me!!!  hehe

  4. Congratulations!!!  And you posted the good news on the 4000th post on BMEWS.

I assume you begin in August---after which time I doubt we’ll ever hear from you until your 2nd year. I understand they keep you so busy you don’t have time to spit much less read about moonbats.

Just thiink--a butter bar in 4 years!

    Congrats again!

  5. {sob}{sigh} Our little Kristin is going away for four years? I think I’m gonna cry. We know you’ll do us proud, young lady!

Now, about that salute .... if you finish in the top 10% of your class, I’ll not only salute you but I’ll tell you where all the best bars will be at your first permanent duty station.

    ONWARD AND UPWARD! CONGRATULATIONS!
