Well done. That is nice. However, there’s another more important reason for my comment here right now. Looks like I owe you. Again. You don’t know it yet, but you saved my bacon this morning with this post.
Last night my wife asked me to make sure I took a frozen pie out of the freezer this morning, as it needed 24 hours defrost time. I suppose I could have taken it out before I went upstairs last night, that would have worked fine. But, erm. I forgot.
When I got up this morning I, ah. Hmmm. Still fergot all about it.Booted to check on things and see what mail was there needed answering but of course had to stop by here first. And then I saw it in your post.
The one word .... PIE. Whaaaa, quick run into kitchen and dash for the freezer. Made it.
So when she gets up and dressed (sometimes I have to help depending on how well the pills worked overnight) and asks if I got the pie out, I can say yeah. Sure did.With Drew’s help.

Thanks Wardmama. The whole little bitty (pop 6000) town of Clinton is like this. Hasn’t changed much since 1840ish. We have several streets that are nothing but houses and churches from that era, and everyone keeps them in immaculate condition. It really brings in the tourists on the weekends and all their money. The mill dates back to 1810.
Damn. I can read the date on the post, and count the xmas lights on the string. Nice resolution, Drew - and a great photo!
