  1. I remember those ads - starving children in Biafra (can’t remember which rock stars were pushing it, though).

Sad that the meddling has amounted to so little.

    Other than instability and death.

Hillsdale college (the publication is Imprimis) has an interesting current edition - The Case Against Liberal Compassion. Great point that fraud, waste and abuse - should be stopped immediately so that every single dollar goes to help people. But that is not what is happening, in fact, it appears that Democrats are really happier when their programs fail and cost more, than in success. Also the article points out that by calling themselves compassionate and doing everything in ‘kindness’ - it makes (without even using the words) - the GOP (i.e. the opposite) automatically viewed as callous and acting in cruel ways.

Which tactics Obama was against (page 123 of Dreams...where he instructedhis mother that the type of programs she worked bred dependance in the 3rd World Nations before he supported them. The leftist hypocrisy is absolutely stunning.

Why people believe them is beyond me.

Sad that it always is the innocent who suffer the corruption of the powerful. And seem to be more than willing to enable that corruption to continue.
