   You missed the primary reason:

   #4. He is trying to clean up the corruption and see that the money is actually getting to the places it is needed rather than the corrupt officials in the bank and the loan reciept countries.

   I think we should pull him out of the World Bank and then pull ourselves out also. While we are at it, we can pull out of the U.N. too.

2. And if the Euros continue to push this- considering that our economy is almost the size of all of them put together…

   Fine, we;ll have him step down. Then we’ll have every nickel, dime and penny of US money pulled out of it, and establish the First Interstellar Bank. We can claim it is because we think the world bank is too human-centric.
