  1. Sweet. The Boys are still kicking ass and taking names. Sheehan and the rest of the communist left wing can stuff it where the sun don’t shine! cool grin

  2. <i>He said three insurgents—two Saudis and a Kuwaiti—were killed by Iraqi troops Sunday when they tried to slip into a camp for displaced civilians dressed as women. /<i>

But how would you tell the difference? They all wear pjamas or sheets???

  3. No difference, OCM. They’re still kicking cutebutt

I am glad to see that the Iraqi troops are taking a continuing larger role in this as they can kill the bastards out of hand without any of the hand-wringing, second guessing and finger pointing that results when our guys kill ‘em.

Imagine the howls if some Marine or Doggie had killed those “men” in women’s clothing: “They’re oppressing the transgendered”. /moonbat

  4. I really believe that things have improved, OCM. The Iraqis are beginning to operate on their own in some places and are rebuilding their country and their army with our help.

Look at the story; 2,500 U.S. troops with 1,000 Iraqis took the town. In a few months, maybe less, it’ll be 2,500 Iraqis and 1,000 U.S. troops doing this stuff. Consider that it wasn’t that long ago that it was all U.S. troops taking these towns back. I see a time when it’ll be all Iraqi troops with U.S. troops in reserve in case they get into trouble.

Things are indeed getting better. It’s not happening overnight and it’s not reasonable to expect overnight success, but it’s happening.

  5. Any death is painful for the survivors, OCM.

We’re killing ~50,000 of our fellow Americans on the roads every year. That’s what’s called a statistic and doesn’t reflect the anguish of each family.

Saddam was murdering tens of thousands every year, including women and children. Another statistic.

I was at the funeral of a two-year old last Wednesday, my friends’ grandson. He became a statistic to some, I suppose, but I wept anyway.

I didn’t weep for the 50,000 or for Saddam’s victims but I had held this baby in my arms. That’s the difference.

I don’t know how you balance the deaths of soldiers with the deaths that didn’t occur because of what they did. Consider that the 150 kept tens of thousands from being killed. Cold comfort when your soldier is one of the 150 and the tens of thousands never know and threrfore may never show gratitude.

We will know what they accomplished.

So, does your local TV station show any successes?

    No?

Could it then be just an effective propaganda arm?

  6. Don’t be so selfish, OCM. You’re better than that.

  7. There IS a lot of selfishness in the USA, but that doesn’t make it right. I’m glad our troops are over there helping out the good guys. Iraqis are people too!

  8. Careful, OCM. Someone reading this might call you a intolerant, close-minded, bigoted, and/or a racist for saying that.

  9. Ouch. I’m not calling you a racist, OCM. I’m just saying “some” people will.
