  1. Are you aware that’s about the funniest damn thing in awhile?
    Clever.

Getting fiber optic in Jan. Woo-hoo. Waited for a year or more. Haven’t a clue what sort of difference it’ll make.

  2. “Epoxied the *@#$! outside mirror back on my car”

    Drew,

    Your lucky.

In my current neighbourhood the drunken, drug-crazed 10-year-olds kick the wing mirrors (outside mirror) off the cars at 5.00 AM on their way home from the local sex-party.

AND I LIVE IN A HIGH CLASS NEIGHBOURHOOD.

PS: To replace these motorised mirrors cost about $500.

Guess what the minimual amount of car insurance “deductable” you can get here?

    Correcto mundo- $500.

Of course, the cops are nowhere to be found and will only reluctantly take a report if you go into the station house and beg.

  3. I’ve always thought that those mirror should be detachable. A little hidden latch on the underside and some kind of spline gear socket for the adjusting wire. Heated mirrors only need an electrical contact point.

Ok, for security, the latch would need some kind of key, and all this would raise the price a bit. But you could take them off in parking lots or if you parked out in the street.

  4. Drew,

I workin on putting 1/2 lb of C-4 with a blasting cap wired via a Mercury switch to a battery connection so when the little bastard’s foot comes into contact with the mirror.........

BOOM, leg off at the crotch, and hopefully his balls into a pink mist!

  5. Uh Drew - can you come here - I’d love a vacay even for a day or two. Four adults in this house and getting anyone to do a damn thing is nigh on impossible. I love them but I’m getting tired of doing it all.

I live in a less than nice neighborhood (approaching lower middle class) but since the welfare moms went into foreclosure across the street - our crime rate is now nil. It is indeed very nice and quiet once again. It’s amazing since the number of homes with adult children and grandchildren living with is increasing every single day - so many people and yet it is still a nice place to live.
