  1. “We ought to stay of the bill for awhile” Sen. Sessions

“before the American people will really ever get behind a policy” Sen. Corker.

Sure, blame the people and take a paid vacation.  island

  3. A couple of things from here - I’ve been writing daily (President Bush, Pelosi, Reid and my 3 Reps)- sent faxes (Numbers USA) - I won’t let up on this issue or the GWOT. . .

    1) my leftist Sen (Brown - D) sent me an email that he has a problem with the bill as written and would have voted againstit had it gone forward - makes me really worried about what this bill is really about.

    and

    2) I’m reading this (turn of events) that America is against it and finally enough of our ‘elected’ Representatives have become worried about ever getting elected again - to stand firm against this terrible legislation.

Since Senator Ted ‘abridgetoofar’ Kennedy has had his hand in this bill, if this ever becomes law - I recommend that all ‘amnestied’ Illegals be deported to Taxachusetts.

  4. wardmama,

It’s bad enough that we’re already called Taxachusetts and we’re up to our armpits in liberals, now you want to send more illegals as well?

Trust me, we already have several whole cities up here that are overflowing with illegals. But rather than Mexicans it tends more to be Dominicans and Haitians. Blocks and blocks of Spanish or Creole signs, money tranfer services, underground bars and nightclubs. Our new Governor, Deval Patrick, has told our State Police not to inquire about the immigration status of people they interact with, in effect a sanctuary state. But just for good measure, most of the mayors around the state have also declared that theirs’ are sanctuary cities.

And of course the Libs up here make sure that there are plenty of “Social Services” for everyone, especially those speaking the aforementioned languages. The many, many state agencies staffed by the friends and families of the democrats in office assure they will always be funded. My tax dollars at work.

I apologize for the sad, pathetic excuses for men that my beloved state continues to send to Washington, especially Kennedy (D-Atlantis). Political corruption is so ingrained here, so prevalent and sadly, so ACCEPTED!

    So please, no more.

  5. Watching the reactions of the people around me to the bill has been interesting.  It’s the first time in years that I’ve seen liberals and conservatives agree on anything!  How come the politicians keep forgetting that they are supposed to represent our best interests?
